The three of us went to visit Beth in Livingston a few weekends ago. Nick and Derek had planned a work weekend, and Ry and I decided to tag along for some of the time. We got in late Thursday night, and the boys spent most of Friday working outside and then just hanging out that night. Beth taught me to make homemade bread, and we did a little shopping that afternoon. Ryker was a good boy except that he had trouble sleeping both nights which made it a couple long days for Nick and I. :( We had a good time, though, and Nick and Ry came back late Saturday night while I drove back that morning to make it back for an appointment and a friend's bridal shower. One of my pal's here in town, Brenda, had her bridal shower a few weekends ago. Brenda is another Houston re-locatee after meeting her soon-to-be hubby on eHarmony. She moved here about a year after Nick and I, and her and Brock make a great pair. :)
The shower was at her house. It was a lot of fun. Donna, her sister and MOH, along with her bridesmaids and a few friends and family were there. They all went out to Wild West afterwards for her batchlorette party, but I came home since Ryker was acting like he might be getting sick. I only took three pics there...here they are.
