BABY BOOT CAMP

Hello all...

I have joined a baby boot camp here in Katy. I like it! It's really fun (for the most part)! There are classes Monday-Saturday at various locations, depending on the day, and they are mostly in the morning. There is one main instructor and a helper who covers a couple days a week. We meet up at the place (Katy Mills, Great Lakes, La Centerra, or Cinco Ranch) and get our exercise on while the babies sit in their strollers and watch us. The babies are involved in the workout sometimes, but they aren't usually. Most of the other babies sleep while we are there, but not Ryker. He is checking everything and everybody out constantly. So nosey. :) He is always good. He sometimes will get a little fussy towards the end, but he is easily distracted which is nice. He has made a few friends...moms and babies...and so have I. I haven't hung out with anyone outside of class yet, but it's coming soon I think.

I am very serious about getting healthier and getting into better shape still. I have now lost about 12 pounds with Weight Watchers in 2 months. It is going slower than last time, but I am post-baby and still nursing. Maybe that's part of it? I am also almost 4 years older so I am sure that's part of it too. Plus, it's a different program now as well. And, I do some splurging on occasion. All my clothes are fitting better, and I am feeling better too. My goal with the boot camp right now is 3 days a week which I have done for 3 of my 4 weeks I have been going (I was in SA the other week...I went one day that week). I may step it up to 4 days soon.

I just wanted to give everyone an update on my progress, healthwise, and encourage you all to take better care of yourselves. I feel so much better already. I can't imagine how great it's gonna feel when I FINALLY reach my goal. :)
