GOSH...time does fly! We now have a 4 month old! It's crazy!
I took Ryker to take his 3 month pics a month ago, and he did so well. I am very proud of him. Most of you got a picture, but if you didn't and are interested in looking at them, e-mail me and I will send you the link. We took them at JCPenney. I don't have a way to load them on here. :(He really is a super good baby, and his sweet little personality is really coming out. It's amazing how much he is already accomplishing, and he is growing so quickly. He is now rolling over from back to stomach (and a few times he has gone from tummy to back) while lying on the floor, sitting up with some assistance, and he can hold his head up very well. He is a fan of playing on his playmat and in bouncer and piano exerciser, watching TV (mainly football with Daddy), and he loves to be outside. He has been sleeping in his crib for awhile now, and he is doing well with that too. He goes to bed between 8-9 pm, and he usually wakes up between 4-5 am, eats, and goes back to sleep for 3-4 hours. The first time he actually rolled over (mostly - minus the arm) was on September 11th. You can see that picture below. Can you believe he's very vocal? :) He loves to coo and scream and jabber, and we are so lucky that he seems to be right on track with everything developmentally. He has even started laughing...which is SO CUTE! He weighed 13 pounds and 12 ounces at the pedi's office for his 4 month visit. That's in the 27th percentile for his age. His length, 25 inches, is in the 55th percentile. He also got his second round of vaccinations too. He did well at the doc's office and that night, but he had some fever and a little fussiness for a couple days afterwards. He is also getting in his first teeth...both bottom front ones are working their way in now.
I am so very blessed that I am able to stay home with him. I have only been back to work for three shift so far (out of 10 I have been scheduled) which is good and bad. I am still adjusting to taking care of our boy being my "job," but I wouldn't trade it for anything. It's the most important job I've ever had! Here's some pics from the last couple months.
