Halloween is usually a pretty low-key holiday at our house, and this year it was the same. Ryker, of course, dressed up. I asked Nick's mom, Beth, to make his costume. For some reason I have wanted him to be a lion since before he was born. It just sounded so cute! Beth did a great job on his costume, and he looked AMAZING as you can see in the pictures. Nick and I took him to a couple neighbors' houses to trick-or-treat. Normally we sit out in our driveway to hand out candy, but we were not sure what to do this year since it all really depended on what Ry wanted to do. We decided to hand out candy at our neighbors, Clint & Jackie's, house. A couple other households were there too handing out their goodies. Ryker was such a good boy. He ate, and he watched all the kids coming up in costume. We were over there for a couple hours almost. We had him in his costume a couple different times (It was kinda hot), and the later the night got, the less he liked his costume's mane. Needless to say...we got a lot of pics of our mane-less lion. I also dressed him in the costume the day before while my parents were here so they could see him in it. We took some pics that day too. And, I took more the morning after Halloween. It was a wonderful first Halloween, and I can't wait until next year! I bet he'll be saying "Tick or Tweet" by then. :)
These 3 pics are of Ryker watching a Baby Einstein DVD last week. He really loves them...especially when the puppets appear on screen. We limit him to watching only one a day.
Trying on his costume the day before Halloween.
Some pre-Halloween pics out in the front yard...

He had a couple different Halloween outfits so there's some pics of him in those...
Kinda random, but this is a pic of a towel cake my mom and I made for a wedding at the beginning of October. It was pretty fun to make. :)
