The Carlson family's first annual pumpkin patch visit

A couple weekends ago Nick, Ryker, and I headed out to the pumpkin patch for our first annual visit. We wanted to experience Dewberry Farms, this HUGE pumpkin patch with all kinds of family activities in nearby Brookshire, but when we got there (20 minutes after they opened) the line was like 150 people deep. NO KIDDING! Seeing as how Ryker couldn't really "do" anything anyway, we headed out to find another pumpkin patch around here. We decided to check out the one at St. Peter's United Methodist Church in Katy. It was free, and it was so nice (and not crowded). Ryker did a really good job for having just woken up from a nap plus having pictures snapped of him left and right. He wasn't as into it as I had hoped he would be, but he didn't cry or get mad so that's always a good thing. :) Nick and I took a few with him ourselves, and we posed him on a little bench they had for most of the others. It's hard to pose a baby who can't sit up or stand and when you can't lay him down on anything. We picked out and purchased a couple little pumpkins for the house. The pumpkin proceeds are being put towards a missionary trip to Jamaica. Sounds so fun! Here's the pics...

He was a little confused...where are we mom?

He only smiled a couple times...I love this one!

And, this one's cute too!

Checking out other kids...

I REALLY LOVE this one! <3

Pic with Daddy :) Nick was such a trooper considering he was sick.

He was starting to check things out at the end...
