Maternity pictures

When I decided to have maternity photos taken Nick was totally into it...then he realized he was gonna be in some of them too. :) I love it! He was actually really excited then. That's why I love my husband so much. I found Chelsea, our photographer, through a recommendation from a co-worker...thanks Ashley! Once I saw her website and blog, I was definitely interested in booking her. She is young, but her work truly speaks for itself. Her pictures are amazing! I also like the fact that the pics are "ours" to print, distribute, etc. off of a CD. That makes life so much easier, and it's usually less expensive too. Love that!

We decided on a date (Mother's Day weekend), and we booked our session. Chelsea and I decided we should meet in old town Katy to start the photo shoot and go from there. It turned out to be a wonderful place for taking pictures, and it was quite popular. Plus, the weather was a little cool and windy which made me happy since I am always hot...before pregnancy and especially now. :) Once we were done in old town, we came back and shot the rest of the pictures here in our subdivision. Firethorne has a lot of really pretty areas up by the lake in the front of the development. Despite the fact that there was a fishing tournament going on, we also got some great images here as well. I think you will agree the pictures turned out exceptional, and Nick and I truly love each and every one of them. What a blessing that we were able to do this photo shoot. ENJOY! We did.
