EASTER Weekend 2012

We had Easter here in Katy this year. It was small. The usual suspects were here...my parents, Beth, and Val and her bf Michael. It was a nice, laid back kinda day. We had ham and BBQ chicken & sausage, scalloped potatoes, green bean casserole, broccoli and cauliflower, and homemade rolls. It was all delicious! And, Val and I made an Easter bunny cake. :) There's pics of that coming...

Ryker was such a good boy! He didn't really get what to do with the eggs. All he did was stick them in his mouth which he does with everything else too. We did a little egg hunt, but Nick and I had to help him, of course, and he wasn't that into it. :( I was a little disappointed, but I know next year it will be so fun!  
He got 4 different Easter baskets (Thanks Memaw & Papaw, Auntie Val, and Great Aunt Betty)! Spoiled much?!? He did seem to enjoy opening up all his stuff though. His favorite thing...FOR SURE...is the push along car my parents got for him. :) We use that thing every day!

Later that afternoon we passed out confetti eggs, and we followed those with a water balloon fight (which was a new tradition for us). It was a blast! We all sat outside for much of the afternoon, and the patio came in handy all weekend. The guys did watch The Masters on and off that day, but it was ok. They were enjoying themselves.
